The ambiguity of martyrdom
This story didn't get a lot of press, from what I gather. Korean farmer Lee Kyung-hae put a knife through his heart in Cancun to protest the WTO's lowering of subsidies. It's a confusing thing, dying in the name of poor farmers while being on the rich side of the table. I found links to
