Fog of War
Tonight I watched Errol Morris' latest film, "Fog of War," a documentary about Robert McNamara. It's very good, very, very good. It's so good I can hardly begin to write about it because every time I do I argue with myself and end up deleting everything I've written. I'll just say that Errol Morris is freakin' smart.
He was there after the screening to answer questions (he lives in Cambridge) and unfortunately had to answer some idiotic questions. Not questions, really, but malformed comments, like "There's a musical quality to your films. I wonder how intentional that is." He didn't suffer those fools very graciously, much to our delight.
Good flick, must see. Bone up on your history before watching it, though. It'll be worth it.
