An architectural idea that literally holds water

Proposal to disguise water tanks as houses.

The two companies propose building a ground level 250,000-gallon water storage tank masked in the structure of a ranch house with a two-car garage, much like two ranch house look-a-like water tanks in Grosse Pointe.

Brighton Mayor Kate Lawrence is pleased with the esthetic solution to the municipal water system addition.

"This will be the nicest-looking water storage tank anyone has ever seen," she said.
