Design-In Marathon, or Borefest 2003
The newly opened AIA Center for Architecture in New York is hosting a
Design-In Marathon.
16-hour, 80-speaker marathon of top professionals, talented amateurs, and emerging voices from the community. Representatives from the worlds of architecture, engineering, government, interior design, preservation, and urban planning gather at the newly opened Center of Architecture to state their cases to the public. Speakers include Michael Sorkin, Lindy Roy, Santiago Calatrava, Enrique Norten, Toshiko Mori, and Rafael Vinoly.
...I assume "the public" means architecture junkies and groupies.
