IOL : 'Salvation Army' becomes a designer label:

"The Dutch branch of the Salvation Army has started its own fashion line made from second-hand clothes to help spread its message that people should take care of each other.

The brightly coloured trousers, coats, skirts, gloves and even a wedding dress were manufactured by a professional stylist by combining at least two garments that were handed in at the charity's clothing dumps."
