Better than A Christmas Carol
At the Noble Fool TheaterThe One-man 'Star Wars' Trilogy is a one-hour, high-energy, nonstop blast through A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Return of the Jedi. Writer and solo performer Charles Ross performs all of the characters, from 'Darth Vader' to 'Yoda' to 'Chewy,' while recreating the special effects, singing the music, flying the ships, and fighting both sides of the battles. Ross developed the idea for The One-man 'Star Wars' Trilogy after spending much of his childhood in a galaxy far, far away, having watched the movies upwards of 500 times.
Review from a slashdot reader:
...I was expecting it to be a kind of embarrasing hour of this guy jumping around reenacting Star Wars and doing voices and that it would be terrible. Instead it was a thrilling hour of this guy jumping around reenacting Star Wars and doing voices and it was wonderful, and he brought the whole audience along.
