Finally, a website with the courage to ask:
was your ancestor a butcher in Guernsey in the late 18th or early 19th century? I think this is one of the least interesting websites I have ever seen. Or maybe that's just sour grapes. Frankly, I just wish MY family once lived and worked in a place called the "Rue des Vaches," and I'm feeling a bit left out. Frankly.
