an interview with TV Guide, producer David X. Cohen says: "At the moment it's a longshot but I don't think it's impossible." But then right after that he starts talking crazy: "It could show on public access if everyone knew it was on and the public access producers were eager to make it a success. In my dream world, Futurama would become a Star Trek-like phenomenon where it keeps growing over the years and suddenly there are movies and we're signing autographs for $3."
