Rappers say the darndest things. I particularly like this recent offering from Eminem's new Detroit crew,
D12 (or, Dirty Dozen, get it?). Here are a couple of gems from group members Proof and Kuniva:
FHM: What's your favorite song on the album?
Kuniva: Every track is, ya know, my favorite one, to an extent, in its own way.
Proof: My fave song is "Gettin' My Gun," 'cos I like going and gettin' my gun!
FHM: What have you learnt being in the studio?
Kuniva: You can't just go out killin' people all day. You know what I'm sayin'? [laughs] Sometimes you gotta just sit down and sleep. You've gotta smile, man!
I, for one, am very heartened by the fact that, after a hard day of killin' and Kuniving, young rappers are learning to relax and laugh it off.
