the belle trolls

As Chuck D. once said: "What's wrong with you, brother? Where's your troll?" Actually, I think he said "soul". But "troll" would have been cool, too.

However, it's not just Ray who loves trolls. The whole of Norway loves trolls, as evidenced by this set of shelves from the gift shop at the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. They are Norway's singular contribution to world culture, apart from Grieg, Ibsen, and "Knazi" Knut Hamsun. The range of trolls has now expanded to include martial arts trolls, hip-hop/r'n'b trolls, and "x-trolls" such as the one pictured below. more.
