MicroStarck

Three reactions to the
Philippe Starck-Microsoft optical mouse:
1.
The Washington PostA sample arrived this week in a silvery gray box. A lighted stripe down the middle -- blue or orange -- adds flair. But the intriguing aspect is not color, it's the way the form harks back to something so familiar. The Starck mouse evokes the real furry creature, tail and all, with the iconic clarity of a child's drawing.
2.
Gizmodo Microsoft tries their hand at peripherale couture with a new mouse designed by industrial designer Philippe Starck, reminiscent of the hemispheres of a brain, they say. To me, it recalls the smooth contours and glowing comfort of ... the mouse.
3.
I4U NewsThe clean design so typical of Starck features a colored center line that integrates the wheel. The left and right mouse buttons are somehow integrated in the left and right segment of the stylish mouse.
...I love that, "somehow integrated". Picture: "I don't get it, there are buttons there, I just know there are, but WHERE? And HOW?"
