Hello MMORPG
Hello Kitty Online World is looking for beta-testers. From what I gather, it's a game about buying things and raising pets, surrounded by odd English ("XO Federation is a modern country with the updated and blatant entertainment facilities."). Makes sense. Shopping, accumulating, cartoony houses, cute creatures... and an utter lack of purpose, just like the whole Sanrio phenomenon itself. But I think the essence of Sanrio is in the tangibility of image. The online world seems about as satisfying as window shopping at the Sanrio store.
But what do I know? Nothing about Hello Kitty makes sense to me.
