Duke Docs
The
Finalists are in for Duke's Moving Image/Arts Project Contest.
A contest to create a 2-minute moving image that explains to the public some of the tensions between art and intellectual property law, and the intellectual property issues artists face, focusing particularly on either music or documentary film.
Update: Ok, I watched them all. They're boring. Vaguely informative, not at all provocative and only obviously humorous. Oh, do you think the point is, documentarians will be forced to produce lackluster films because of the new copyright laws? That would be an impressively ambitious Duke.
