Library or Shop?
arcspace has opened their
Image Library, which offers, for now, images of six buildings. 20 to 24 images
on sale for $12, liberal usage agreement. So it's not really a library, is it? More like a very, very tiny shop. That sells boring photos.
That reminds me, JC brought home a freebie book on Candida Hoffer, the photographer. Apparently part of the Gursky peer group. Nice, really nice photos of interiors. Cold, geometric, people-less... an architect's photographer. I'd never heard of her, but now I wonder if she gets commissioned by architects with too much money and pride on their hands.
