Sodium Party to document what really happens when you drop pure sodium in water. Multiple videos, but his server is usually overtaxed.
Interesting observation that might save your eyes from an acid burn: a chunk of sodium thrown into a body of water will often fly right back at you after part of it explodes. The chunk will continue skipping around the water at high speeds until it's all gone. Yikes.
An even more interesting observation: the day after his first explosion test, he found his driveway full of male sulfur butterflies, who collect sodium to include in their sperm.
