What Google Suggest really meant

I read a while back (and maybe posted, can't remember) one guy's interpretation of Google Suggest. He said that the Suggest feature in itself wasn't anything special, but the way it queried the server and streamed in results instantaneously was. Then he foresaw faster map and image loading, creating seamless experiences on the web. Now, not long after Suggest, comes the new Google Maps.

It's lovely.
