Wallpaper, for real

Timorous Beasties makes wallpaper, honest to goodness modern wallpaper. It's nice to see, especially since Nest folded (Nest once tried to sell wallpapers). Oh, I guess I should mention that these are just a little bit more than decoration. One of their designs is derived from the geographic borders of European countries, organized into a Damask. Another one, in the style of a Toile de Jouey, depicts modern Glasgow with heroin addicts and pissing kids. Sweet.

Nice ones. Or the other way, use all the tiles, like the ones changing on your blog, and let OSX multiply and change it, preferably every minute, some kind of retro, classic style. Nice too :-)

But the truly great thing about this wallpaper is, it's really wallpaper. It goes on your wall. It's floor-to-ceiling, full of color and texture. How come people are so ready to skin their OS's but insist on painting their walls white?
