we make money not art has a slightly nauseating but irresistible post called "Tripe lights," featuring
Julia Lohmann and
Krister Olsson, who both make things out of meat parts. Lamps made out of sheep stomachs (much, much bigger than the photo suggests), leather benches that preserve the shape of the cow and beef cartilage xylophones. Normally I wouldn't care so much about meat-based shock art, but these pieces are really beautiful.
