Everything's a Chisel Pixel
Last week people were talking about
Photographic Concrete, which to me is technically interesting but generally cheesy. Today, however, we hear about
Photographic Grass, an experimental medium by
Ackroyd &
Harvey. Living grass with altered chlorophyll. Just the other day I was wondering when someone would invent new flowers with corporate logos embedded in the genes, so that you could embed seeds in business cards and candy wrappers... some of the discarded material would take root along sidewalks and in yards, bringing to life mini(organic)billboards. My next thought was that it would be nice (and in this scenario convenient) for corporate logos to become more abstract and less dependent on words.
